- By copyright status and holder, to make it easy to find songs that can be performed, recorded and distributed without needing performance, mechanical and streaming licences.
- By religious orientation (Christian, sacred-but-not-specifically-Christian, secular)
- By artist - showing the tune and lyrics composer separately
